Hi, I understand that Dragon Fruit helps improve digestion but also reduce weight, hence, is it safe for my 22mths old child to consume the fruit to aid her chronic constipation problem? She has been loosing weight recently because her body is not absorbing the nutrients from the food she eats, and with the constipation and bloatedness, she is not eating much. Can you tell me whether the Dragon Fruit is beneficial to my child?
May 20, 2008 at 3:42 am
Although the Dragon fruit as a dietary supplement is well known to ease constipation, chronic condition for a 22mths little child as you have described should be brought for immediate professional medical attention.

Read on the internet that flowers only open (at night &) for a day. Bats or moths usually pollinate this flower or by the human hand.

juz to share with all. whenever i peel the dragon fruit skin, the fruit.. i chilled it to be eaten later but the skin, i use to spread on my face.. the same to banana skin, which still have the fiber in it..
July 3, 2009 at 8:29 am
Hi
Kristelle Ann B. Perez.
I dont know, what is the contents of the skin of dragon fruit but what I know, it really make my skin fresh & energetic.
Im fromSingapore, the climate in my country are very hot & humid, so.. if I place the fruits in the fridge, once it is chilled & peel it, I will spread it on my face, lips, body, underarm or whichever area that u wish to.
Do not use the skin if the fruit are too ripe.. otherwise u will feel sticky.
Last but not least, I only use the red dragon fruit & not the white.
Happy trying & all the best with your research.

September 7, 2009 at 2:24 pm
hi sindya,
i dunno of any real truth, if people have a mindset.. eat fruits also make sugar level high, so.. why ezit everywhere saying fruits are healthy but perhaps as what yr aunty said, could be some truth in there.. we dun eat too much of it.
as for me, if i ate so much of durian, i got heaty.. so, to calm myself.. i divulge in mango ice-cream which I dunno why, it really soothe my heatiness.

dragon fruit can be purchased at a local heinens. i should warn you though, they are very expensive. the price of the fruit at my local heinens was $6 for one dragonfruit.
September 25, 2009 at 9:01 am
Not really, in Singapore.. at local supermarket cost about 3 pcs of white dragonfruit = $1.65 while the red dragonfruit, 2 pcs = $2.35
Anyway, fruits that rich with all the benefits, I dont see.. why not to buy, just because of it prices, right?
No matter what, people still buy fruits whether dragonfruits or not.

Been to Bangkok City a couple of times now, first time was in January 2002, then back at Christmas 2008. What a phenomenal place! It caters for everybody: if your searching for neighborly locals there is masses of them, if you want well-thought-of thai food there is quite a little and nightlife is outstanding. If you want a low-priced holiday, you can have it – if you require a pricy holiday, you can have it also. My girlfriend is really in love with the place and has just bought into a massage shop over there. My kids love it as well. What a wonderful place to celebrate Songkran!

Hi
Would like to know, if I have asthmatic problem or have some respiratory problem may I take the dragon fruits regularly. As I experience difficulty in breathing and breathless after taking the fruits. Await for advise.
July 13, 2010 at 7:32 am
Hi Jo,
Dont worry about it, even if u smear the skin on yr face, it also turn pinkish.
By the way, it is good to hear that, atleast all her toxin are flush out.
July 13, 2010 at 7:37 am
Hi Ner,
If u have breathing & breathless after taking the dragonfruit, I suggest u stop for awhile & refer to your doctor.
Your health is important as u know certain fruits are good for health but some are not especially if u are eating too much of it.

Wish to know whether the Red Dragon Fruit is injected with the red colour and sugar during the growing process or is it natural?
December 23, 2010 at 8:45 pm
Gek Lui,
The red dragon fruit are natural unlike flowers where they spray the petals to look colourful.
The red dragon fruit got alot of benefits for health, if it is injected by colouring.. then it is not for the goodness.

You should first consult with your doctor about any Hair loss products that you plan on taking,
you also have the ability to research online.
Increasing the flow of blood to the follicles will stimulate hair
growth. Also made from either synthetic fiber or human hair,
the effect usually appears more natural.
